Dreamtime- S/T LP.  Brisbane Psych rockers Dreamtime hit hard on their debut vinyl offering. As hypnotic guitar lines pound through a twisting fog of bouncing bass line to open the album, it’s clear Dreamtime doesn’t give a damn that psychedelia isn’t in fashion. Snarling guitar licks that bend and drip with acid, fuzzy bass tones, perfectly placed drumwork and keyboard tones you could swear have been kept in stasis since the 70s. The band combines these all in new and inventive ways, never falling into the trap of what’s come before them. Really good record here, packing a nice punch with the crisp, clean production. Props for the absolutley stellar looking artwork by Henry Bennett and the silver foil cover design looks really fuckin’ cool. You don’t see to many records covers with silver foil printing these days. Ace packaging on this one!  Import from Australia.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
