The Routes- Do What’s Right By Now 7”. There’s a huge number of great bands in Japan right now and one of the best is The Routes. I’ve always thought that one of The Routes strongest points is that they put 100 percent heart and soul into each song and these two songs are no exception. This 7” is freaked-out 100 mph fuzz garage and executed with more than the usual amount of frenzied guitar attack. This 7” bleeds all over the place! The guitars are raw and primitive, the vocals are scratchy and the drummer is a beast. These guys clearly know how to play, as well, as the songs are just so fuckin’ tight. And on top of that, both of these songs just totally rip.  Another two song banger from one of Japan’s finest. Recommended.  Import from the UK.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
