The Geros- Razor Dog 7”.  100% Killer raw punk rock from Osaka, Japan! Second single from this Japanese band that plays in that familiar, distorted-yet-catchy style of bands like Teengenerate and the Registrators. It seems like the market for bands like this will never get saturated because so few bands can actually do it well. You pretty much have to be Japanese to pull it off and The Geros totally get there. The A-side here is a balls out punk rocker with big riffs and big choruses, while the B-side is a little more melodic and 60s-inspired with its surf-y guitar licks and nimble lead. I hope this band sticks around long enough to make an LP, because I have no doubt it’ll be a scorcher. Fans of the above mentioned bands or newer bands like Louder and Black And White will dig. Recommended.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
