Stents- Invisible Sounds LP.  The Stents are the crown jewel of Baltimore's Garage Rock scene! They mightily step up to the big format with a pretty rockin’ platter. The Stent play no nonsene guitar driven Rock N Roll with some catchy keys and harmonica sprinked across a number of these songs. The 10 tracks on the LP run the gamut from Link Wray-inspired instrumentals to a little power pop and a hand full of songs that remind me of the Lyres, a little early Chesterfield Kings with flashes of DMZ and the Miracle Workers. A diversely fun record coming from some dudes that have deep roots in the garage/rock n roll scene with ex members of the Hate Bombs and Frampton Brothers. The Stents play at their high engery best here with incredibly tight musicianship, murderous guitars and ten intoxicatingly delightful tracks. And dig that cool looking cover art! Import from Spain on Ghost Highway Recordings.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
