Speedball- Maximum Speed CD.  Speedball are a band that formed in 1978 as a band called Idiot, but after a false start the band re-grouped from a four piece down to a three piece and renamed the band Speedball in 1979. The band played out around the UK alot and built a loyal audience coming from parka clad fans that were migrating towards the newly formed Mod phenomenon that was sweeping the country. From 1979 to 1981 the band played their hearts out to packed venues and released one cult single on local ‘No Pap’ Label which has now become quite a collectors item. This brilliant and long over due Reissue features both sides of that highly sought after single along with unreleased studio tracks and a few choice live tracks. 14 tracks in all. Quality Reissue here that comes with a nice looking 8-page booklet with liner notes from the bands manager and a number of unreleased band photos. UK import.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
