Rotores- Gum In My Head 7". On “Gum In My Head”, Rotores toss off five energetic cuts that pull from different eras of the Ramones sound. My favorites are “I Don’t Wanna Be Tonight With You”, “She’s Gone” and “I Want You”. “I Don’t Wanna” opens the record with some great lead guitar and a cool rhythm guitar riff. The vocals remind me just a little bit of Joey Ramone and the rhythmic hooks bully their way into yer brain. Even at nearly four minutes, I really like the tune and the song totally works. “I Want You” lands near the end of the EP, blasting away with a fast tempo and a nice bouncy double-tap snare. The main guitar riff is cool and the harmonious chorus really helps to drive the song home. Fun listen. THIS IS THE LIMITED VERSION OF THIS 7" ON HOT PINK WAX!
