Protex- I Wonder Why 7".  Protex are a Belfast Punk band which formed in 1978. Their first record was released on Good Vibrations Records in 1978 before moving on to Polydor. They formed as part of the first wave of Belfast punk bands along with the likes of label-mates like The Undertones and Rudi. Both of these songs were recorded at an early recording session at RAK Studios in London. The Studio was founded by Mickie Most in 1976, who is most notable for recording bands like the Animals, Herman's Hermits, the Nashville Teens, Donovan, Lulu, Suzi Quatro and the Jeff Beck Group. Protex arrived at Rak Studios in the Summer of 1979 after the band just left school in Belfast and relocated to London. Both of these songs were never released and were recorded before ‘Strange Obsessions’ was tracked. Very early recordings here from this classic Belfast Punk band. Import from Italy.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
