Meatbeaters- Wrong Side Of Yesterday LP.  Hey, this kicks ass! Fourth album from these Aussie rockers and it’s really stoopid and really good. There's a fuckin' excellent balance here.. they have TONS of Australian attitude with riffs galore a la the Cosmic Psychos and Onyas and they run right over Motorhead - but in their own car because they're not copycats. It's a very fun listen with song titles like "Pair Of Those", "Devils Pride", "Purple Helmet" and "High Time" which should give you have a fair idea of what to expect. Meatbeaters also have that unique heaviness that's inherrent in many Aussie punk 'n' roll bands. Take "Cold Embrace", for example: it has a Powder Monkeys vibe in the heaviness and just flat out fuckin’ rips. You like Cosmic Psychos? Then you’ll love the Meatbeaters!  Recommended. Import from Australia.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
