Dirtshakes/Battledykes - Split 7".  The Dirtshakes were formed by Jenz Bumper from the German punk band the Jet Bumpers and also include members of the Kidnappers and Backwood Creatures. They belt out two songs of scorching punked out rock'n'roll action with pop smart hooks and punk rock vigor. Kinda like the Ramones meets The Rip Offs meets the Devil Dogs. On the flip, The Battledykes prove once again that you can get away with aping The Ramones if you have a chick singer and pump a bit of rock n’ roll into the pop-punk formula. Would you rather listen to The Queers or Nikki and the Corvettes? Would you rather listen to Darlington or The Eyeliners? Would you rather listen to The Huntingtons or The Bobbyteens? I rest my case. Both Battledykes tunes here are total blasts of Ramones-ian firepower laced with some sexy-rockin' girl-band charms. Both of their songs kick ass in an early Donnas sorta way. Import from The Netherlands.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
