Belgrado- Siglo XXI LP. Whoa, this is some really cool Punked out Deathrock. Kind of like 45 Grave, Killing Joke and T.S.O.L’s long forgotten baby with a healthy dose of tempo changes, Female vocals and spite. Barcelona's Belgrado return with their second album 'Siglo XXI'. The 11 track album melds dark and dreamy Goth and Post Punk with a stunning and clear production. The bass leads and drives each track whilst the vocals yearn and ache on top. This record has a clear 80's English DIY influence, but also sounds very modern. The LP comes in a thick black and white sleeve with artwork from drummer Jonathan and also includes a 30×30 insert, an extra lyric sheet and a gaint poster. Very nice packaging and great record.
