Throughout the last decade the Steve Adamyk Band remains Canada’s premiere power-pop/punk combo. The band has toured Japan, Europe (four times) and all across North America, unleashing five albums and a long list of seven inch singles along the way. That rigorous touring schedule has helped them perfect their sound and write the perfect album here. The Steve Adamyk Band know their way around a good riff and can spot a good poppy hook from a mile away. They use that in their favor on their sixth album ‘Paradise’ blending jangly, driving guitars and electric vocal harmonies that shine like never before. On the new album the band has beefed-up their sound as well as there is nothing lo-fi about this record. ‘Paradise’ is a sonically huge, with just the right amount of scuzz and crud that’s always been a core foundation of their sound.
