Brain Bagz / Blood Bags- Split LP.  The Brain Bags bust straight outta Salt Lake City harnessing an amalgamation of fried and freakish sounds that polluted stereos decades before, but stewed altogether nicely for fresh new sound. The Cramps ”Psychedelic Jungle”-era is a good starting point fer the swampy sludge these Utah natives muster. But there’s a heap of 13th Floor Elevatin’, Sky Saxon seediness, Screamers raw synth pulse and Crime caterwaul crawl that helps infect their side. On the flip are New Zealand garage punk maniacs Blood Bags. These guys keep it wild and raw, busting out six songs that give you no option but to go on a juvenile delinquent rampage in your own home – smashing everything in sight as you succumb to their delightfully in-the-red blast furnace of tangled solos and furious riff action.
