Satans Cheerleaders- Hell Is For Hippies CD.  Cool reissue here from early 80s NYC bizarro Hardcore outfit Satans Cheerleaders. For those not familiar with Satans Cheerleaders, mix early MDC with the guitar attack of the DEAD KENNEDYS, add a little REAGAN YOUTH and some wierd MINUTEMEN tempo changes and yer on the right track. They mix tempos alot oscilating between punk and hardcore speeds which works well for their sound. This intriugueing reissue includes all of Satans Cheerleaders recordings from the 80's on one CD! So it includes everything they recorded in 1983 on their "Created In Your Image" Demo, everything they recorded in 1984 on their "Bark Twice For Freedom" Demo and the entire 1985 "Hell Is For Hippies" session that has never been released until now. That session includes 18 unreleased tracks. Also included as a bonus is a DVD with a live set recorded in Winter of ‘84 @ Garage Unsound Central in East Northport, NY.
