Scumbag Millionaire- Dead End 7".  Just take a look at the band photo for Sweden’s Scumbag Millionaire and you’ll see a decidedly shady looking group of characters sporting facial hair, double denim, spent leather and baseball caps who look like they haven’t washed in about a week.  But they also look the the kind of band that’ll flat out Rock yer ass off and they do just that here.  On Scumbag Millionaire’s phenomenal new 7”, ‘Dead End’, it’s safe to say that they sound exactly like you were hoping for playing a burly combination of driving riff rock and guitar slaying punk ‘n roll.  Both songs on this 7” follow a pretty effective formula of scowled / growled vocals, frenetically fast drumming and some surprisingly adept guitar slaying creating a pretty intoxicating brew which you can see working well in the live arena. Image a twenty car musical pile-up involving Zeke, Motorhead, the Hellacopters, Chuck Norris Experiment and the Backyard Babies from a band who wouldn’t even remotely consider turning down the volume if their life depended on it. That’s Scumbag Millionaire in a nutshell and this baby fuckin’ rips!   Recommended.  Import from the Sweden.
