Mean Jeans- Are You Serious LP.  The Mean Jeans are the dudes that live down the street blaring the Ramones and the Angry Samoans late at night while they’re playing "Edward 40s Hands" and their neighbors are trying to get some sleep. They have 3 things in their refrigerator: beer, hot sauce and three day old stale mac ‘n cheese that’ll all be gone by sunrise. The 13 tunes on ‘Are You Serious’ is the soundtrack to that late night rager that reminds me of the good kind of mid-90s pop-punk (Screeching Weasel, Vindictives, Riverdales, the Queers) when punk rock meant snotty low-brow 3 chord gems where the "songs about partying" vs. "songs about girls" ratio leans heavily in the PBR fueled pogo punk direction. Recommended.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
