Watts- Flash Of White Light 7”. Watts may have nicked their moniker from the surname of reclusive Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts, but this glammy rock n' roll Boston foursome is a lot less gentlemanly, and a lot more loud. The title track ‘A Flash Of White Light’ sounds like a clear-headed Wildhearts tune perfectly blending gritty rock ‘n roll hooks with a smooth poppy gloss. The B-side slows it down a hair strutting like The Dragons bringing a jarring guitar attack with heavy nods to rock and roll’s more traditional riffy roots. Raw, rambunctious and bad-mannered, Watts annex seedy bar-room swagger with a pop fused hard rock veneer. Double A-sider all the way here. THESE ARE ON THE LIMITED WHITE WAX!
