The Chronics  influences are deeply rooted in the raw energy of  first wave punk drawing heavily from bands like The Saints, Buzzcocks, Real Kids and the Ramones, who blended punk’s aggression with pop sensibilities.   And the band’s early exposure to the 1980s US garage rock revival scene, particularly bands like The Lyres, DMZ, and The Chesterfield Kings, shaped their love for gritty, retro sounds adding a layer of jangly, melodic texture to their sonic palette.  This quality reissue includes 14 power poppin’ rock ‘n roll hits and is limited to only 300 copies.
