Poison Boys- Poppin’ Eyes And Flashing Feet 7”.  Two more cuts of pure sleaze from Chicago’s Poison Boys. These guys come strutting back like Johnny Thunders and bands like the Dead Boys as they groove the fuck out on their newest single 'Poppin’ Eyes And Flashing Feet'. The Poison Boys are like best kind of smutty 70s/80’s Rock & Roll band. They’ve got elements of glam (New York Dolls- Johnny Thunders esque riffs galore) and snotty Punk like the Dead Boys/Pagans with the swagger of the Joneses. They spit out the lyrics over some pretty heavy hitting rock n roll guitar licks that would make Cheetah and Wayne proud. The A-side is a total burner and 'Run And Hide' is a little bit sleazier and I always appreciate those grimy, rockin’ Thunders licks. Two song banger here from a band that continues to impress. Recommended.  Import from Italy.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
