Low Culture / Needles Pins- Split 7”.  Low Culture play frantic, melodic Garage Punk and feature members of Shang-A-Lang and the Marked Men. Musically they sound pretty much exactly like a cross between those two bands, with the Shang-A-Lang’s distinct songwriting style mashed together with the Marked Men’s tighter, foreceful delivery. Their two songs on this split 7” are the results of the band’s first trip into a “pro” recording studio, sounding cleaner but no less effective than their phenomenal last album. On the flip Vancouvers Needles//Pins churn out a fiery mix of Garage Rock attitude with Power Pop hooks. You can put them on right after you're through listening to Seve Adamyk Band or Mother's children and they’d fit right in nicely. Vocally I'm actually reminded a bit of John Reis from Rocket From The Crypt. Like John Reis their lead singer is a little gravely and a bit nasally and manages to carry remarkable melodies through each song that’s packed with a plethora of catchy Pop hooks.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
