Escalator Haters- S/T LP.  Debut full length from the Escalator Haters, from Switzerland, after a superbly snotty 10” on No Front Teeth. Escalator Haters play piercing UK 70s three chord punk that manages to be melodic yet abrasive at the same time. I’d compare them to other mid tempo punk bands like the Undertones and Protex, but they play slightly faster and a little more amped up without getting into campy Toy Dolls/Briefs territory. The vocals are melodic, yet biting and the singer sounds a little like Dave Vanian from The Damned at times. This’d snuggle up nicely shelved next to your Lurkers, Rudi and Undertones records and if that’s not a ringing endorsement, I don’t know what is. Gorgeous cover art by Marco from the Gaggers and the LP includes a full color printed insert. Import from Germany on Wanda Records.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
