Strikt Struktur- Det Stora Coctail Party 7".  Fuckin’ killer single from this new band from Sweden. Strikt Struktur contain a couple lifers in the rock ‘n roll scene including Patrik Caganis and Per Helm who were in Union Carbide Productions back in the day. This single fires hard with four totally killer tracks. Their sound centers around brut, muscular guitar riffs -- mean, angry, and measured -- paired with the clean, dense production often favored by Australian bands like AC/DC and Radio Birdman. Reminds me alot of the Cosmic Pyschos in the sense that these guys are playing a similar kind of dirty, mean, fuzzed out rock & roll with the guitars front and center in the mix and the band playing from the heart. Hadn’t heard of these guys before this, but definitely a band to keep an eye on. This thing rips! Cool DIY packaging on these as well and they are hand numbered out of 245 copies.
