Neo Neos- Hammer Of Civilization 7”.  Debut vinyl from this rad band from Minneapolis with a ton of cassette releases and finally makin’ it to wax. Kinda reminds me a little of the Coneheads and Lumpy at times with some mean, tough bass riffing, tight snare rolls, and a snotty singers that totally gets the job done. Is there even a guitar player in this band? Don’t think so, but it works as most of the songs have weird unexpected tempo changes when you don’t really expect them to keep your interests peaked. There's a loose, sarcastic feel across these songs too, so I'm guessing Neo Neos are a bunch of punk idiots who don’t take themselves to seriously. Fans of the current Neck Chop roster will dig. Import from Canada.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
