Birth (Defects)- Ascetic 7”.  Two song 7-inch here from the Baltimore outfit featuring Accidental Guest and Fan Death head honcho Sean Gray on vocals. Seeing who is involved here and the label releasing this single, I could tell right off the bat, I’d be in for some filthy noise-rock and thankfull the band obliged. Birth (Defects) put together some fairly thick and relentless noise here, digging heavily into the AmRep back catalog with a guitar tone that sounds vaguely like some of that Mama Tick material mixed with a low-end dominance that could also perk the interests of GodheadSilo fans. This is ragged and furious noise-rock. You will probably like them if you like Killdozer and Unsane or other comsic heavy forms of masculinity. Top notch packaging on this one too as it includes a nice Japanese style-obi strip adorning the 7” cover and these are pressed on nice looking BLACK AND WHITE SPLATTER WAX!

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
