Dr. Boogie- She’s So Tuff 7”.  Dr Boogie play deal rock ‘n’ roll and they just get it. Their second single, ‘She's So Tuff', is a shining example of this. The title track is chock full of glam/hard rock swagger and boasts a hook I just can't get out of my head. That sleazy Hanoi-inspired floor tom roll, on the intro, totally sets the seedy mood for the tune before those swingin’ Stonesey guitar licks chime in and you just know the tunes gonna fuckin’ rip. It’s a total burner that gleams like everything on their debut LP including a super catchy hook on the chorus and those soothing, skrokin’ horns. On the B-side, 'Peanut Butter Blues', is a barroom brawler with a tip of the cap to Rod and the boys. With Stewart raspy vox, a little New York Dolls inner city sleaze and a slingin’ dose of Thunders guitar riffin’; the tunes a resounding last-call essential for sure. Play it again, barman, and this time turn it up!
