Arondies- Introducing CD. For a brief moment in 1964, the Arondies were the hottest local band in the Pittsburgh area with an instrumental called "69." Their 15 minutes of fame -- local fame at that -- was over soon enough but the band left some fine recordings behind and they're all collected here on this 13 track Reissue. Aboard are both sides of their two stellar singles ("69," "All My Love," "Keep On Going," and the brutal "One Dead Chicken") and the group's sound moves effortlessly from raucous instrumentals to tight, two part Everly Brothers styled harmonies. Those who like their '60s garage bands a little off the beaten path will revel in this fine collection of Sixties flavored rock 'n roll gems from one of Pittsburgh's finest garage rock unknowns.
