X-Prays- S/T LP. X-Prays are a Punk trio from Madrid, formed by members of the Webelos, Grupo sub 1,and Obediencia. They’re a bit more aggressive, than their former bands and definitely more Punk! The amazing female vocals are the absolutely stunning and bring to mind KBD ragers like VKTMS, Electric Deads and UXA. It's raw yet well-produced... the riffs are awesome and the singers voice is right up there in the top 10 female punk voices of all time. Her lyrics are simple, to the point, tough, and funny without being dumb. Throw in somre really catchy punk tunes and this ones definately a winner. Keep your eyes on these guys and gal. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
