Los Pepes- Greatest Hits LP.  Los Pepes write fantastic super catchy power pop often played fast  with most of the songs on the LP under the 3 minute marker. Main song writer Ben Perrier certainly knows how to write ‘em, and on this 18-track album, Los Pepes join all of their singles together onto one nicely packaged LP.  This lovely compilation comes with a bonus CD including the 14 songs on the LP along with 4 additional bonus tracks. 'The Trap' kicks things off in style with a snarling spitting slice of rapid-fire guitar punk with a super catchy hook on the chorus.  'Perfect World' sounds like it fell off Stiv’s 'Disconnected' album and  'All I Can Do' sounds like a street tough Ramones beaming with nihilistic upbeat bouncy energy.  One of the other outright hits is 'Guilty Pleasures' that’s a three minute blast of snotty ‘77 punk rock a la The Boys.  Perrier isn’t short on really good guitar licks and that doesn’t shine better than on songs like 'Tonight' and 'No SOS'. Los Pepes are definately one of the UK’s best hidden treasures, so if you’re not to familiar with the band this is a great place to start.  Import from Spain.
