Klozapin- S/T LP. Fun record here from Brooklyn based psych-pop trio Klozapin. Klozapin drifts between the dark and dreamy, channeling bits of ‘60s psych ‘70s new wave and '80s indie-pop with with multilayered instrumental tracks and reverb-drenched vocals. On first listen, what stands center stage are the guitars. The guitars meander and interweave creating super catchy melodies that really set the distinct mood for this record. And there seems to be a struggle with whether the band wants to write emotional pop songs or dark experimental soundscapes, but the push and pull between the two sentiments is sonically gorgeous. 500 copies of this LP were pressed. 400 on black and 100 on opaque orange wax.
